以含7%鱼藤酮的鱼藤Derrishancei Hemsl根粉为有效成分与多种纯天然物质配成混合粉剂,撒在红火蚁Solenopsis invicat Buren身上强迫其将药剂带入巢内,药剂中的引诱剂吸引红火蚁取食,并通过红火蚁在巢内频繁活动和交哺喂食行为将药剂传递到巢内各品级的所有个体,引起全巢红火蚁中毒死亡,20%鱼藤根粉剂药后21d工蚁防治效果达98.25%,灭巢效果达95.32%。鱼藤根粉混配粉剂在防控红火蚁中具有良好的应用前景。
Booby-trapped workers of the red imported fire ant, Solenopsis invicta Buren, dusted with a powder mixture composed of Derris hancei Hemsl. Fabales: Leguminosae root powder containing 7% rotenone as effective component and natural materials containing an attractant bait, were used to deliver the botanical pesticide rotenone into fire ant nest. The treated workers spread the pesticide within the nest and thereby transferred it to other workers, and to soldiers, queens and kings. 21 days after applying the powder mixture that contains 20% D. hancei root powder, control efficacy of worker ants is up to 98.25%, and ant nest elimination averaged 95.32% with all ants within nests eventually died. Rotenone is characterized by generally short persistence in the environment and has low mammalian toxicity. The results indicate the potential for using rotenone by such method to control red fire ants.
