摘要
乌鲁木齐市处于地震活动频繁的天山地震带中段，城市地震灾害的潜在危险与日俱增。为了响应联合国关于“国际减轻自然灾害１０ 年”活动的号召和近期内中国实现大中城市的减灾目标，在乌鲁木齐市建立了震害预测及防震减灾对策系统。阐述了乌鲁木齐的地震环境，介绍了防震减灾对策系统的主要内容。
The city of Urumqi is situated in the middle segment of Tianshan earthquake zone where seismic activity is frequent,so the potential danger from seimic disaster is increasing day by day.For answering the call of “International Decade of Natural Disaster Relief”activity sponsored by the United Nations and attaining the goal of reducing disaster in big , medium sized cities of China,the measure system for earthquake disaster prediction and relief is established in Urumqi.In the paper,bow to build the system is described in detail,and the questions lying ahead in future and the prospects of the system are discussed.
