Improved TFRC Protocol Based on ECN Step Marking

摘要 针对无线网络中TCP友好速率控制(TFRC)协议无法准确判断分组丢弃原因而导致的效率低下问题,提出一种基于显式拥塞反馈的阶跃标记方法,设计新的无线流媒体传输协议。仿真实验表明,新协议能在无线信道下准确区分丢包原因,并提供准确的拥塞通告信息,在保证TCP友好性的同时提高吞吐率。 TCP Friendly Rate Control(TFRC) protocol over wireless networks has poor performance because it can not judge the reason of packet loss exactly.To solve this problem,this paper proposes a step marking method based on Explicit Congestion Notification(ECN) and designs a new wireless stream media transformation protocol.Simulations show that,with appropriate loss differentiation and congestion notification,the new protocol achieves high throughput while keeps reasonable friendliness to TCP flows.
