The industrial grating signals can be digital frequency multiplication with a phase-locked loop (PLL) controlled by a microcomputer. The angular scaled pulse generated by this technique is more rational than the timed pulse to calibrate the gear drive error. It is of great help to raise the dynamic measurement accuracy of the grating instrument.
