摘要
托尼·莫里森的《宠儿》中心人物宠儿模糊的多重性身份和最后的神秘结局一直吸引了许多学者的研究。本文从现实和超现实两个角度分析宠儿在小说中的多重身份及其神秘结局,以此来证明莫里森赋予了这一形象丰富的象征性内涵。
Since the pubilcation of Toni Morrison＇s Beloved in 1987,the ambigous identities and the mysterious ending of the central character Beloved have attracted many critics＇ attention.This paper focuses on Beloved＇s ambiguous identities and her mysterious ending through the realist and surrealist perspectives in order to prove that this mysterious character has been endowed with rich symbolic meanings.
