重晶石粉经表面改性处理后由亲水性转变为憎水性，粉体流动性好，不聚积易分散。改性后的重晶石粉可作为填料代替沉淀硫酸钡在油漆中使用。
The powder of barite can be
changed from hydrophilic to hydrophobic by surface modification.The fluidity of the powder is
good,nonaggregation and easy to disperse.The modified barite powder can replace precipitated
barium sulfate as filler in paint.
