史蒂文斯运用了大量的自然意象来表现他的诗歌理论和对现实的哲思。细读其第一部诗集《风琴》并结合文学伦理学批评的方法可以领会到诗行里流露出的生态思想。他用诗的方式阐释了人与自然的关系,给混乱现实赋予了秩序,为人类主体找到了位置,替精神家园找到了归宿。
An eco-consciousness can be drawn from Wallace Stevens＇ Harmonium with an approach of ethical literary criticism. Wallace Stevens interprets, in his own way, the relationship between man and nature and put forward a way out from the disorderly situation.
