Abstract The paper has made discussion on the rate of unoccupied houses at home and abroad,pointed out that the rate in our country should be higher than that in developed countries,a percent of 5-14% is appropriate.According to this analysis,the present rate in our country is relatively higher,which produces a lot of adverse effects.
