摘要
报道了(60)Coγ射线辐射交联改性HDPE单丝的研究,选择了辐射条件和工艺,并考察了辐照剂量和条件与凝胶率,单丝强度,热缩性能之间的关系。所得的改性材料其耐热性能以及热收缩能力改善,能经受160℃的加工温度。收缩后的单丝光滑、均匀,热缩比恒定;力学性能无劣化,完全能满足增强型热缩材料的使用要求。
This paper presents a study on the radiation corsslinking modification of highdensity polyethylene (HDPE) filament by 60Coγ-ray. The HDPE filament netted with fibre glass is middle lamella and quality key of reinforced heat shrinkables. Our study are modifying the HDPEfilaments by 60Co γ-ray with the four atmospheres (in air, partial air; inert gases and vacuum) at room temperature and observing their relevant propeties. The optimal irradiation condition has beed obtained. That is kind of inert atmosphere. In inert atmosphere radiation crosslinking doesn't dependon the dose rate study choose, but primarily on the absorbed dose. The influences of absorbed dose and irradiation condition on the gel fraction and tensile strength have been examined. The material heat resistance and heat shrinkable ability was considerably improved with almost no change on its mechanical strength. The radiation modification filament was successfully used in reinforce heatshrinkables and can meet completely the requirements of the reinforced heat shrinkable materials.
