摘要
在复合助剂对氧化铝基陶瓷烧结性研究结果基础上,本文继续就其力学性能进行探索。复合添加剂包括如下三部分物质:MgO、硅酸盐物质及过渡/稀土化合物,利用其综合叠加效应,在加入量不大的前提下(<5%),不但较显著地降低氧化铝陶瓷烧结温度,同时获得较好力学性能。实验发现,添加较少量(2%)硅酸盐物质材料既具有良好的烧结性,又保持了较高强度。在此特性基础上,研究了继续添加过渡/稀土化合物对材料强度的影响。结果表明,不同物质对材料强度产生不同影响,复合烧结助剂中添加La2O3和CeO2对材料强度有较大程度改善。
Improvement of mechanical property of alumina-based ceramics is investigated taking advantage of a small amount of complex sintering aids which includes MgO,silicate and rare earth or transition metal oxide.It is expected to realize high mechanical property of ZTA ceramics while keeping good sinterability by means of complex sintering aids.It is found that the addition of realtively small amount (2%) of silicate gives rise to densified material and increased strength when sintering at low temperature for short soaking time.Further introduction of different rare earth/transition metal oxides into the material exhibits different effects on strength of ZTA ceramics.The strength is improved to a large extent by La 2O 3 and CeO 2 inclusion.
