摘要
本文把技术进步分为水平差异型和垂直阶梯型两种模式,从理论上探讨了在不同的技术进步模式下知识溢出对技术进步的影响,由于中国东中西部地区产业发展水平不同,获取国际知识溢出数量不同,同时,不同的国际知识溢出渠道对应着不同的技术进步模式,因此技术进步必然会存在区域差异。本文主要研究国际知识溢出与中国技术进步之间的关系,基于东中西部三大区域的实证研究分析表明,进口渠道的国际知识溢出是东部地区提升技术水平的主要途径,而FDI渠道的国际知识溢出对中部地区技术水平的提升较明显,在西部地区,国际知识溢出对技术进步尚未发挥明显作用。
The horizontal divergence and the vertical ladder are defined as two modes of technology progress in this paper. After that, the effects of International knowledge spillovers on technology progress of horizontal divergence and vertical ladder are discussed respectively. Because of the different development level of in- dustries, different amount of international knowledge spillovers obtained and different mode of technology progress with corresponding international knowledge spillovers channels, technology progress should be different in the eastern central and western China. With an empirical study on the relationship between international knowledge spillovers and technology progress in the three region of China, we can find international knowledge spillovers through the import channel play an important role in improving technology progress eastern China, and that through the FDI channel is more obvious in central China, but in western China, international knowledge spillovers have little or no effect.
