摘要
作为清朝最杰出的藏传佛教高僧,三世章嘉呼图克图不仅在政治上取得了巨大的成就,而且在佛教文化建设和传播方面也做出了多方面的贡献:撰写大量的佛学著作,主持翻译佛教典籍,创制满文经咒新字,指导佛教造像,主持修建寺院等等。
As the most outstanding tulku in the Qing Dynasty,the third Icang-skya-ho-thog-thu not only procured great achievements in political field,but also made full-scale contributions to the construction and publicity of Buddhist culture： writing a large number of Buddhist books,taking charge of translating Buddhist scriptures,creating new words of scripture incantation in Manchu,guiding the manufacture of statues of Buddha and managing the building of temples,etc.
