摘要
在中国近代地学史研究中，海洋地理学因与其它近代地学分枝学科相比起步较晚、发展较为缓慢，因而长期不受重视。但它作为中国近代地学的重要组成部分之一，仍取得了多方面的成就。该文在收集了大量近代海洋地理学文献资料的基础上，分析了近代海洋地理学在中国的传播与发展的过程，总结了２０世纪上半叶中国海洋地理学的主要成就，并期望通过这些成就反映出中国近代海洋地理学概貌。
Compared with other branches of geoscience, oceanography is a discipline which started rather late and developed slowly. Though it was ignored in the research of the modern history of geoscience in China, it is still an important part of modern Chinese geoscience and has gained many achievements. Based on a large amount of selected information on modern oceanography, this paper analyses the spread and development of modern oceanography in China and summerizes the main achievements of Chinese oceanography in the first half of this century. It is hoped that the paper may serve as a mirror to give a general picture of modern Chinese oceanography.
