摘要
随着根管治疗适应证的扩大,老年人的牙髓根尖周疾病在经过根管治疗后可以取得很好的疗效,但由于老年人全身状况及口腔情况较为复杂等因素,其根管治疗相对青年人有一定难度。本文针对以下几种情况进行初步探讨:老年人髓腔解剖的增龄性变化、如何预备细小钙化根管及寻找根管口、根管再治疗病例的选择、老年人系统性疾病引起的治疗困难、老年人特殊的心理因素等。
Root canal treatment,along with its indication extended,can now provide satisfactory effect for teeth with pulpitis and apical periodontitis of aged people.However,it is more difficult to treat the elderly patients than young people due to their complex systematic and oral conditions.The purpose of this paper is to preliminarily discuss the following situations：age changes in pulp chamber of the elderly,how to prepare a narrow or calcified root canal and locate its orifice,case selection of root canal retreatment,difficulties in treatment originated by systemic disease of aged people,special psychological factors of elderly patients.
