摘要
本文研究了矿产资源在水产养殖业中的应用，表明作为水产饲料和改善水产养殖环境的天然矿物和岩石有20多种。如沸石、麦饭石、膨润土、硅藻土、凹凸棒石、海泡石、稀土等。它们具有饲料添加剂、净化剂、调节剂、催化剂及除虫灭菌和治疗等功能。文中阐述了它们在水产养殖中的作用机理，其对鱼类的生殖、生长、发育、防病等均起着重要作用。我国海水、淡水养殖面积广阔，矿产资源丰富，开发水产用矿产资源前景良好。
More than 20 kinds of natural minerals and rocks may be used in aquatic feedstuff and for the improvement of aquaculture environmnet, such as zeolite, medical stone, bentonite,diatom earth, attapalgite, meerschaum, and rare earth. Mineral resources in aquaculture have functions of feed-additives porifying agents, catalyts cure, and so on. The anthors expound the functioning mechanism of minerals and rocks in aquaculture. Minerals and rocks have important effects on fishery reproduction growth; development and disease prevention,etc. The appllcation of minerai resources to aquaculture has wide prospects in Chinese waters.
