英语电影片名的翻译是一项重要的、充满创造性的工作。英语电影片名有其特点。从目的论视角来看英语电影片名翻译应遵循若干原则和采用多种实用翻译技巧,翻译原则包括:信息原则、文化原则、审美原则和商业原则;翻译技巧包括:音译、直译、意译、创译。
English film title translation is a very important and challenging job. English film titles have their characteristics. From the perspective of skopostheorie, English film titles translation should obey some principles and take some pactical methods. The principles include informational principle, cultural principle, aesthetic principle and commercial principle. The skills of translation include transliteration, liberal translation, literal translation and creative interpretation.
