摘要
中医英语翻译是中医走向世界,在现代社会取得进一步发展的关键环节,它属于翻译的一个分支,具备翻译的基本特点,然而中医理论蕴含着深厚的哲学思想,许多中医术语蕴含着深刻的文化内涵,这也成为中医英语翻译独有的难点。要想原汁原味的将中医的内容表达出来,不仅要能熟练运用翻译的基本方法和技巧,具有一定的中医理论知识及其文化底蕴,更要具备强烈的责任感。
TCM English translation is the key link for its going global and reaching higher. It belongs to a branch of translation and has the basic characteristics of translation. However TCM theory contains profound philosophical thoughts and many terminology of TCM has a profound cultural connotation. This became the exclusive difficulty of TCM English translation. Therefore, if we wanted to express TCM authentically. We should not only be proficient in translation methods and technique, have certain TCM knowledge and its culture, but also should have strong sense of responsibility.
