摘要
以深圳6大交通系统的公示语英译个案为语料,调查分析交通公示语英译的现状。通过分析当前交通公示语英译存在的问题及原因,指出公示语英译应采用"借鉴、写作"的翻译方法,并以此方法为指导对深圳部分交通公示语的英译提出改进建议。
This paper takes an investigation and analysis on the examples of English translation of transportation public signs in Shenzhen. With an analysis of translation problems and their causes, the paper offers suggestions on improving translation of transportation public signs based on the translation method of ＂Borrow ＆ Write＂.
