摘要
本研究应用Ricketts生物渐进治疗技术的多用途弓矫治12例高角型深覆(牙合);通过矫治前后X线头影测量分析,结果表明:多用途弓能有效地垂直压低切牙,而不升高磨牙,使深覆(牙合)得到矫治,有助于高角型患者面形的改善。本文对高角型深覆(牙合)形成的机理、切牙压低量的意义、应用多用途弓的注意事项进行了讨论。
Ricketts's biopropressive therapy was used to treat 12 patients with excessive and high angle overbite. Cephalomelic changes were investigaated during treatment. Results show that utility arch technique can be effective in intruding incisors vertically while not causing extrusion of posteriors. With this technique, deep overbite was reduced and patient s facial profile was improved. It was also debated in this article that the mechanism of deep overbite of high angle,sence of the amount of intrusion of incisors and notice in using utility arch.
