摘要
《礼记》一方面记述了殷周以来有关"礼"的种种制度、仪节和观念,同时又通过对《仪礼》的解释、发挥,体现了孔子及其后学重建礼制秩序的构想。《礼记》中针对家族以外的社会行为规范,可视为中国"公共文明"之发端。但是,随着中国现代化进程的深化和国人文明意识的日益自觉,《礼记》所阐述的礼学体系需要进行基础性重构,从中国传统之"礼"的精神和原则中,可以传承和转化出自由、自律、分享和责任等现代性观念,它们构成了当代中国公共文明建设的本土文化资源。
Liji records and interprets the institutions, rituals and ideas about Li since the Yin dynasty, which embodies Confucius and his successors＇ idea of reconstructing the ritual order. The norms of social behaviors recorded in Liji can be regarded as the emergence of Chinese public civilization. With the quickened steps of modernization in China and the Chinese people＇s better awareness of civilization, the ritual system in Liji needs a reconstruction of its foundation. Freedom, self-discipline, sharing and responsibility and other modern ideas are the inheritance and transformation of the spirit and principles of the traditional Chinese Li, and are the indigenous cultural resources of the contemporary Chinese public civilization.
