摘要
针对当前齿轮设计与开发过程中存在建模精度不够和设计周期长的问题,开发了一个基于精确模型的齿轮参数化设计系统。该系统运用数据库技术和编程语言Visual Basic,利用MATLAB强大的数值计算功能获取精确的齿廓线坐标,通过Visual Basic调用CATIA宏命令自动读取轮廓坐标数据,完成齿轮精确的三维模型参数化设计,实现了设计知识的重用,有效地提高了齿轮的建模精度和产品的设计效率。
A parametric design system of gear based on accurate model is developed for the problem of modeling accuracy and the long cycle for designing in current gear design and development process. The database technology and the programming language-Visual Basic are used in this system. Firstly it exploits the high capability of the engineering calculation of MATLAB to obtain the accurate profile's coordinates; then it calls the macro commands of CATIA to read the profile's coordinates data through the Visual Basic and finally the parametric design of the accurate gear's 3D-model is finished. This system achieves the reuse of design knowledge and effectively improves the gear's modeling accuracy and the efficiency of product design.
