It introduces an economical and reliable technologyof preventing crack-cold expansion technology ofrail bolt hole. It leads some useful residue stressing force around the rail bolt hole so that to prolong the fatigue life of rail bolt hole. It also briefly introduces the system of cold expansion, the generation and location of the remnant press on stressing force, the practical result of preventing and controlling cracks and the application of the technology of cold expansion and its prospect.
