摘要
从技术理解和社会理解的统一视角来解读社会工程,认为社会工程是关于社会关系再造、形成和设计的学问;从学理角度考察,社会工程是一门新兴的社会科学应用基础的学问;社会工程是基础理论学科和应用理论学科之间的中介,是解决如何运用一般的理论的学科;社会工程的本质特征是工程方法和社会方法的统一,具有建构性和选择性。
To comprehend social engineering from the united visual angle of technical understanding and social understanding, it is held that social engineering is a kind of learning concerning the restructuring, formation and design of social relation. When investigating from the theoretical angle, social engineering is a kind of learning of application fundamentals of a newly-emerging social science. It is an intermediary between the discipline of fundamental theories and the discipline of applied theories. The essential characteristic of social engineering is the unification of the engineering method and social method. It has both the structural and selective nature.
