摘要
通过对中国历史上经常被使用的"文质之辩"观念的分析,力图说明中国历史观拥有自己独特的构造,并非西方的历史演进观念所能够解释和说明。并分别讨论了"文质"概念与古代文明观、古代知识论的关系,以及它在朝代兴替过程中所体现出的独特作用。
This article reconsider the classical topic of literature(wen)and essence(zhi),how it was discoursed on and associated with empires' prosperousness and decay.Debates would never end if it bears a special structure of Chinese view of history,or it could be considered as derived from evolutionary view of history.This study look into the topic of literature(wen)and essence(zhi)from the views of culture and knowledge,and tries to get an new interpretation.
