摘要
本文详细论述了决策支持系统、人工智能、３Ｓ系统、计算机网络等计算机技术在国外林业中应用的现状，并对其发展趋势作了展望。近年来，计算机技术在林业上的应用日趋广泛，使林业的管理技术和研究手段发生了很大变化，计算机已成为林业生产和科研上最有力的手段及必备工具。随着计算机软硬件性能的不断提高和各种决策理论的不断发展，各种单项技术将在不断完善的基础上趋于结合，向着智能化、集成化的方向发展，将极大地促进计算机技术在林业上的应用走向深入。
Abstract The article discussed the current status of the application of computer techniques such as decision supporting system(DSS),artificial intelligence(AI),3S(RS,GIS,GPS),computer networks and so on in forestry in foreign countries. Its developmental trend was also predicted.In recent years,the application of computer techniques in forestry broadens increasingly.It makes management techniques and research methods of forestry changed greatly.Computers have become powerful means and necessary tools for forestry practice and scientific research nowadays.With the improvement of computer hardware and software performance and development of the decision theories,all individual techniques will be combined on the basis of being perfected and develop towards intelligence and integration.These will accelerate application of computer techniques greatly in forestry in depth.
