摘要
一氧化氮(NO)在生物体内作为一种具有双重作用的信使分子,发挥第二信使和神经递质的作用。值得关注的是,NO既有重要的生理功能,同时又表现出神经毒性。由于NO非囊泡释放、性质活泼,半衰期仅为3-6秒,在体内不稳定、难以检测,而一氧化氮合酶(NOS)作为脑组织中催化精氨酸生成NO的唯一关键酶,其性状相对较稳定、酶活性持续时间长且检测方便,因此观察NOS的变化可了解NO的作用。
As a messenger molecule with dual roles in organisms, Nitric oxide (NO) plays the function of the second messenger and neurotransmitter. It is noteworthy that NO not only has important physiological functions, but also displays neurotoxicity. Due to NO's non - vesicular release and active nature, its half - life only lasts 3 to 6 seconds. Therefore, NO is instabe and difficult to detect. However, nitric oxide synthase ( NOS), as the only key enzyme to generate NO through catalyse arginine in brain tissue, with its relatively stable traits and long duration of activity, facilitates the detection. Therefore, we can know the role of NO through the observing of NOS changes.
