摘要
介绍一种基于UART口的红外通信方法并设计了相应的红外通信装置。为使红外通信的距离尽量远,对发送的信息需要采用脉冲调制技术,其调制方法有脉冲位置调制和脉冲宽度调制(PWM)2种方法。所设计的红外通信装置采用PWM调制技术,在讨论了软件和硬件的实现方法后,该装置采用VRS51L3174自带的PWM模块,即采用硬件方法实现PWM调制功能。论述了红外发送电路(载波的生成/PWM调制功能的实现)、红外接收电路(接收器件的选型及电路设计)。探讨了通信距离与载波占空比的关系,及连续通信能力与时间的关系。实际应用结果表明,所设计的装置通信距离可达30m,一次可发送40000位信息,工作稳定、可靠。
Infrared communication based on UART is introduced with an infrared communication device. The pulse modulation technique is applied to increase the infrared communication distance,including pulse position modulation and pulse width modulation. Based on the analysis of hardware and software implementation,the device adopts the hardware implementation scheme with the PWM module of VRS51L3174. The infrared sending circuit (carrier generation/PWM) and receiving circuit are presented,and the relationship between communication distance and carrier duty cycle, as well as the relationship between communication capability and duration,are discussed. Practical results show that,the designed device reaches the communication distance up to 30m,sends up to 40000 bits per message,and works stably and reliably.
