摘要
以丙烯酸和十八醇为原料,对甲苯磺酸为催化剂,对苯二酚为阻聚剂,环己烷为携水剂,采用直接酯化法合成了丙烯酸十八酯。确定了合成的最佳工艺,即丙烯酸与十八醇物质的量比为1.2∶1.0,对甲苯磺酸的质量分数为1.0%,对苯二酚的质量分数为0.7%,反应温度为125℃,反应时间为6h;在此工艺条件下,酯化转化率可达98%以上。精制产品经红外光谱分析及对产物熔点、折光率的测定,证明所得产物为丙烯酸十八酯,熔点为30.6~32.0℃;折光率为1.4465,均与指标相符,该产物可作为聚合反应的单体使用。
Octadecyl acrylate was synthesized by direct esterification from octadecyl alcohol and acrylic acid with p methylbenzene sulfonic acid as catalyst. The influences of the molar ratio of acrylic acid and octadecyl alcohol, amount of catalyst and inhibitor, reaction temperature on esterification were investigated by orthogonal design.The IR spectra and some physical characteristics of product were in good agreement with that of literatures.
