The 350 MW gas-fired boiler that Baosteel Power Plant licensed from Germany is the first large-volume multi-fuel co-firing boiler in the world. Since it fires wide varieties of gas fuel, its control strategy is very complicated. Based on actual commissioning process, the control strategy and features of its combustion system are being described in detail, which can be taken as a reference for design and commissioning of similar domestic power units.
