摘要
糖工程学是糖科学的一个分支,其目的是更合理地使用糖类。糖工程学涉及的面很宽,从生物质资源的利用,到以糖为基础的药物开发。对糖工程的一个狭义的理解是,糖蛋白的糖基化工程。
Glycoengineering is a branch of glycoscience, the purpose of which is more reasonable to use carbohydrate sources. Glycoengineering involves a lot of aspects, from the utilization of biomass to the exploitation of carbohydrate-based drugs. In narrow sense, glcyoenginerring is the same as glycosylation engineering of glycoprotein.
