Distribution of Heavy Metals in Urban Soils of Zhengzhou City and Soil Quality Assessment

摘要 郑州是潮土分布区的重要城市,关于郑州市城市土壤重金属现状的研究较少。在郑州市区选择30个点,每点采取0~5、5~10和10~20cm土样,原子吸收法分析样品中重金属。结果表明,土壤中Cu、Zn、Pb和Mn的平均含量分别为59.11、91.67、39.63和552.7mgkg-1。Zn在城市化较早的地区含量较高,其它元素的分布与城市化历史的关系不明显;Zn在土壤剖面上的表聚现象明显,而其它元素显示出城市化早的样点表聚不明显、城市化晚的样点表聚明显的特点。利用潮土背景值计算得到污染指数,4种元素中,以Cu的污染指数较大,Mn的污染指数较小。综合污染指数的变化范围为0.98~2.79,平均值为1.70,处于中等偏上水平。所有样点中有3个样点的综合污染指数平均值超过2.0,这3个点均位于交通比较繁忙的区域。以上结果表明,郑州市城市土壤存在Cu、Zn、Pb和Mn的积累,但积累程度较低,高含量地区重金属污染源主要为交通工具。 Zhengzhou is an important city in Chaotu soil area, however, very limited information is available about the heavy metals in urban soil of this city. In this work, soil samples were collected at the depths of 0-5, 5-10 and 10-20 cm at 30 sampling sites in urban area of Zhengzhou city and the contents of copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), lead (Pb) and manganese (Mn) were analyzed with atomic absorption spectrometry. The results indicated that, the mean concentrations of Cu, Zn, Pb and Mn in these soil samples were 59.11, 91.67, 39.63 and 552.7 mg kg-~, respectively. Higher concentrations of Zn were found in early urbanized area, no obvious trend about the other three elements were observed; furthermore, higher concentrations of Zn were found in 0-5 cm layer for most samples; for Cu, Pb and Mn, higher concentrations were often found in samples from areas with shorter urbanized history. Cu had the maximum mean Pollution Index (PI), while Mn had minimum value. Integrated Pollution Index (IPI) ranged between 0.98-2.79, averaged at 1.70. Among all 30 sampling sites, average IPI of the three layers of three sites were 〉2.0, all with the characterized by heavy traffic. These results suggest that there is low level accumulation of Cu, Zn, Pb and Mn in urban soils of Zhengzhou City, and vehicle is the most important source of heavy metals in high concentration area.
