摘要
本文运用定量研究方法,考察32名高水平组和30名低水平组英语专业本科学生英语隐性语法知识的应用情况,探讨其隐性知识与英语水平的关系。统计分析表明,高、低水平组学生在隐性知识应用方面既有共性也有显著差异,且与英语水平有显著的相关关系,回归分析表明隐性语法知识可较好地预测英语水平。
This study aims at investigating the use of implicit grammatical knowledge by 62 Chinese EFL learners and its relationship with their L2 proficiency level. The results show that the high-proficiency group and lower-proficiency group demonstrate both striking similarities and distinctive differences in the test designed to elicit the implicit knowledge. It is also found that the EFL learners' implicit grammatical knowledge is significantly correlational with their language proficiency,and that implicit grammatical knowledge seems to be a reliable predictor of general language proficiency.
