According to the data from laboratory and heavymetal contamination and noncontamination field experiments, it can be concluded that there were remarkable differences between the wheats from heavymetal contamination and noncontamination areas( area P and C) in some physiological, biochemical, anatomic and morphological,and quantitative characters, and the wheats had differentiated into heavymetal contamination area ecotype and noncontamination area ecotype. Based on the conclusion, some of the characters of heavymetal contamination area ecotype had been summarized.
