摘要
地球系统力学是可持续发展战略的科学基础，它跨越一系列自然与社会科学。本文讨论了地球系统力学研究的意义及其内涵，并初步提出了理论体系框架。
Earth system mechanics, as a base science of sustainable development, strides across a series of natural and social science. In this paper, the meaning and content of earth system mechanics are discussed as well as a theory frame is put forward.
