摘要
阐述了袁枚《子不语》语言的基本风格:平实、简约、诙谐;分析了《子不语》中语言材料的运用方式和修辞特征在平实、简约、诙谐方面的具体表现;分析了《子不语》用语通俗平易、不事雕琢、简洁凝练、诙谐幽默的特点,认为其语言运用平实中见奇巧,言简而意赅,诙谐中见讥嘲揶揄,体现了作者较为高超的语言运用技巧,也增强了小说的趣味性和可读性。
The basic language style （i. e. plain, concise and humorous） of What Confucius Didn＇ t Say of Yuan Mei is elaborated. The concrete manifestation of rhetoric features and using mode of language materials of What Confucius Didn＇ t Say in the aspects of plainness, conciseness and humors is discussed.
