摘要
计算机网络是一个时分多路系统,同其他网络相比(如PSTN),它的信道利用率比较高,但是,它的传输线路容易发生阻塞,分组的传输时间不太容易估计.因此,要在计算机网络中传输多媒体业务,必须限制网络中会话的特性,严格控制分组的传输时间.文中研究了受漏桶约束的会话特性,证明了受漏桶约束的会话的两个重要性质:①受漏桶约束的会话是网络中唯一具有最大时延的会话;②在基于速率的服务器中,如果会话S的最小带宽为r,那么,会话S的最大时延不超过Dmax的充要条件是会话S受漏桶滤波器(r,r×Dmax)的约束.
Computer network is a time division multiplexing system. Compared to the other networks (such as PSTN), utilization ratio of the channel is high. But its transmission line is easy to block and the transmission time can't be computed. In order to transfer the multimedia on computer network, we must limit the session's characteristics in the network and control the transmission time. In the article, characteristics of the leaky bucket constrained session are studied and two important properties of the leaky bucket constrained session are proved. The first is,the leaky bucket constrained session is the only kind of session in the network which has a maximum delay. The second is, in the rated based sever, if the session S has a lower bound on bandwidth r , the session S has an upper bound on delay ( D max ) if and only if it is constrained by a leaky filter ( r,r×D max ).
