摘要
利用多模干涉自成象原理分析设计了具有较小循环周期比的1.3μm与1.55μm波长的Si0.96Ge0.04/Si波分复用器.通过模的传播分析法对其传输特性进行分析发现,在8μm的耦合区宽度和1150μm的最佳耦合长度,这种器件对1.3μm和1.55μm波长光的对比度均在40dB以上,且插入损耗小于4.0×10-3dB.
Abstract A systematical analysis and design have
been made for 1 3μm and 1 55μm Si 0.96 Ge 0.04 /Si wavelength division multiplexer
based on the self imaging principle of multi mode interference. Using the modal propagation
analysis, transmission characteristics of the device are investigated. The results show that, at the
coupler width of 8μm and the optimum coupler length of 1150μm, the contrast of this device is
as higher as 40dB, and the insertion loss is less than 4 0×10 -3 dB.
