摘要
本研究探讨听写测试方法对测试结果的影响。听写有多种测试形式,如填充听写、段落听写、听写作文等。为了探讨不同的听写测试方法是否影响测试结果,本研究采用三种听写测试方法对三组同质的受试进行测试实验。结果显示,不同的测试方法对受试的考试成绩有显著影响。
As a testing device, dictation has been developed into many types, among which partial dictation, passage dictation and dicto-comp are often adopted in some large-scale tests in China. However, to date, very few studies have been conducted to investigate the effects of test methods in a dictation test. This paper reports a study on whether different dictation methods affect test-takers' performance. Three dictation passages were designed based on the three dictation methods, namely, partial dictation, passage dictation, and dicto-comp. Three homogeneous groups of 67 students took the test respectively. Results show that different dictation methods have significant effects on the test results. However, partial dictation and passage dictation tests don't produce significant difference in mean score, but dicto-comp test is significantly different from the other two. It suggests all three types of dictation methods, if well designed, can be applied to test dictation ability.
