摘要
应用Polyflow软件对粘弹性聚合物熔体在气辅挤出口模内的流动进行了研究,得到了挤出物直径的挤出胀大比方程。模拟结果表明,熔体在滑移段的平均停留时间与材料松弛时间之比同挤出胀大比之间存在指数衰减关系。通过HDPE的气辅挤出成型实验,发现不同螺杆转速及挤出温度下挤出物直径的实验值与计算值达到很好的吻合,该计算方法可用于指导气辅口模设计。
The flow of the viscoelastic polymer melt in gas-assisted extrusion die was investigated by using Polyflow software, and the equation to propose the extrusive swell ratio of product diameter was obtained. The simulation results showed that the relation of the ratio of the average residence time that polymer melt settled in the slippage stage to material relaxation time with the extrusive swell ratio was decayed exponentially. By the experiment of gas-assisted extrusion HDPE, the experimental diameter agreed well with the calculated value in different screw rotate speed and extrusion temperature. The high degree of consistency among the numerical simulation and experimental verification showed that the proposed equation was reasonable and relible to guide the design of gas-assisted extrusion die.
