摘要
以苯乙烯和丙烯酸丁酯为主要单体,采用半连续乳液聚合法合成了汽车工业滤纸用涂布树脂。通过改变pH值调节剂的种类。质量分数和调节方式,研究了pH值调节剂对合成苯丙乳液性能的影响。结果表明,将用碳酸氢钠、氨水和氢氧化钠进行pH值调节的苯丙乳液应用于滤纸上时,滤纸的耐水性、耐破度都有显著提高。用质量分数5.0%氨水作pH值调节剂,聚合前调节乳液pH值为8.0,聚合反应后再补充调节pH值到7.0~7.5时,所得乳液稳定且综合性能指标最好。
The resin impregnant styrene/acrylic emulsion used for automobile filter paper was synthesized by semi-continuous emulsion poly- merization using styrene and acrylate as main monomers. The effects of pH regulators on emulsion properties were studied by changing the kinds, concentration and control mode of the regulators. The results showed that, the pH value in emulsion polymerization was adjusted by the pH regnlators, such as sodium bicarbonate, ammonia water and sodium hydroxide, and the water-resistance and bursting strength of the filter paper were markedly improved when the filter paper was impregnated with the emulsion. The comprehensive properties of the emulsion were the best and most stable when ammonia water with concentration of 5.0% was used as pH regulator to adjust the pH value in polymerization to 8.0 then adjust the pH value of the system after polymerization to 7.0 -7.5.
