中国的大飞机注定"命运多舛"。自成功实现宇航梦想之后,中国从周恩来总理时代就开始筹划的另一个重要飞天梦想--造中国自己的大飞机,在冻结20年后开始复苏。事实上,2003年11月由国家科技部组织的"大飞机项目论证组"一直在对该项目进行调研和专家论证,工作报告也已上报给科技部国家中长期科技规划组这样一份在多个关键问题上都没得出统一结论的工作报告上交后,显然更加大了决策的难度。可以预见的是,大飞机计划将考验决策层的大智慧。
China goes a bumpy road to make its own big planes. After it sent its astronaut to space successfully, another important aero dream, making very big planes, loomed again after twenties years of being frozen. In fact, the big planes project demonstration team created by the ministry of science and technology has investigated and studied the feasibilities of the project since November 2003 and working report had been submitted to the ministry of science and technology.
