摘要
产品责任是生产者或销售者因其生产或销售有缺陷产品致他人人身伤害或财产损害进行赔偿的民事责任。产品责任是现代工业社会的产物,伴随着社会经济、政治、思想文化向纵深发展,产品责任的理论研究也逐步深入完善。产品责任问题的研究发端于西方社会,不足为奇,而且西方国家对此领域的研究依然继续,这也说明了产品责任问题是一个不容忽视的环节。
Product liability is the civil liability that the manufacturers and retailers should take responsibility when the products they make or sell cause personal injuries or property damage. It is the result of modem industrial society, and with the in-depth development of social economy, politics, ideology and culture, its theoretical study has been gradually deepened and improved. The study on it originated in western countries, and the study still carries on, which demonstrates the product liability is an indispensable link.
