摘要
唐代李淳风考订了前朝各个时期的度量衡,详细记载了度量衡的差异演变。其中涉及唐以前在度量衡方面有所建树的多位学者,保存了现已不存全书的文籍资料,描述了几近完备的度量衡器物,记载了极具研究价值的历史事件。与唐代其他学者相比,他的论述兼顾度量衡,内容更加丰富,史料收集较为完备,考订方法得当,对后人的研究产生了一定影响。但他的个别工作也有令人遗憾之处。
LI Chunfeng, who was a famous scholar of the Tang Dynasty （618 -907）, made great efforts to study the weights and measures in the former dynasties and recorded their developments of and their differences of weights and measures. His explorations involved many scholars which gained achievements and preserved some contents in the ancient books and records, which are incomplete at present. In addition, almost complete apparatus of weights and measures of former dynasties and valuable historical events were also described in his explorations. Compared with other scholars of the Tang Dynasty, he gave attention to the three aspects of weights and measures and collected quite a number of historical materials as well as adopted appropriate methods. Therefore, his researches affected subsequent studies to a certain extent. However, there were also some woeful parts in his studies of weights and measures
