马丁·布伯是著名犹太哲学家、思想家,他在《我与你》中提出的"我—你"关系对人文社会科学的各个领域都产生了深远影响。"之间"概念是其对话哲学的基础,将这一概念应用于翻译理论研究,探讨翻译活动各参与者之间的对话关系,以及各种对话关系对译文的最终形成所带来的影响,具有重要价值。
Jewish philosopher Martin Buber introduced in his famous book I and Thou a relationship of ＂I-Thou＂, which has had a great impact on nearly all aspects of humanistic and social sciences. As the fundamental basis of this relationship, the concept of ＂betweenness＂ can be borrowed into translation studies for researchers to analyze all kinds of relations between the participants during the process of translating as well as their influences on the final draft of translated texts.
