摘要
翻译批评者在评价译者的翻译策略时，应“宽容”一些，即在文本对比、分析的基础之上，把译者进行翻译的历史背景、当下译文读者的期待视野、译者的文化立场、社会环境这些社会历史语境因素的制约纳入考虑，从而保证翻译批评的客观性、科学性和全面性。
Translation critics should be more ＂tolerant＇＇ when judging a translator＇s strategy. Various factors in social and historical context including the historical background in which a translation is produced,the horizon of expectation of target readers,the cultural standing of the translator and the social environment,etc, should be taken into consideration on the basis of comparison and analysis of source text and target text in order to guarantee that the translation criticism is objective, scientific and comprehensive.
