摘要
运用向量自回归模型(VAR)估计区域金融发展水平与全要素生产率之间的关系考察金融发展与区域经济增长之间的技术进步影响,并运用格兰杰因果检验对区域金融发展规模与全要素生产率增长率之间的因果关系做出检验。研究发现,1990年以来中国西北各省区的经济金融化程度均得到提高,但是金融发展对全要素生产率的影响较弱,全要素生产率对金融规模的响应程度和显著性不高,西北地区金融发展对经济增长的作用还没有得到充分的发挥。
In this paper, since the use of vector regression model （VAR） we estimates the regional financial development and total factor productivity level, to study the relationship between financial development and regional economic growth by the impact of technological progress. We use Granger causality to test the causal link between the scale of regional financial development and total factor productivity growth. We found that financial level in the economic is enhanced in northwest China provinces and autonomous regions since 1990. However, the impact of financial development on total factor productivity is weak, the extent and response of total factor productivity to the financial scale was not high and significant, so the role of financial development on economic growth has not been brought into full play.
