PPOH(顺式丙烯基膦酸)处理切花月季萨蔓莎品种,降低了乙烯生成量和盛开前的花茎增大率,增大了花朵开放直径;增加了盛开前花枝的鲜重,盛开期间保持了较高的吸水量与失水量比值;瓶插至盛开期和盛开持续期均显著延长。乙烯生物合成抑制剂AOA(氨氧基醋酸)处理效果与PPOH相近,但因花朵“蓝变”使盛开持续期有所缩短。乙烯作用抑制剂STS(硫代硫酸银)处理增大了花径,显著延长了盛开持续期和瓶插寿命。PPOH和AOA处理红衣主教品种,降低了乙烯生成量,STS处理则使之增加,但是都没有延缓开花和衰老的效果。推测PPOH延缓萨蔓莎开花和衰老是通过降低乙烯生成而起作用的。
Cut roses ‘Samantha’ and ‘Karolinal’ , of which flower opening can be accelerated and inhibited by ethylene respectively, were used to investigate the delaying effect of cis-propenylphosphonic acid (PPOH) on cut flower opening and senescence, as compared with aminooxyacetic acid (AOA) , an ethylene biosynthesis inhibitor, and silver thiosulfate (STS) , an ehtylene action inhibitor. 1) With Samantha,PPOH treatment decreased ethylene production of flower during vasing, delayed the opening, increased the fresh weight of flower branch before full opening, increased the maximum value of increase rate of flower diameter, and sustained a high ratio between water uptake and water loss. The processes from vasing to full opening, full opening to wilting, and total vaselife were prolonged 1.4, 0.6, 2.0 days respectively, which is significant at 0.05 level of probability. AOA treatment showed similar effect except that the ratio between water uptake and water loss was lower and flower blued after full opening. Nevertheless, it delayed the senescence and therefore prolonged the vaselife. 2) With cultivar Karolinal, the treatments were all insignificant in delaying flower opening and senescence, although PPOH and AOA treatments reduced ethylene production, and STS promoted the production. The results suggest that the reduction of ethylene production was responsible for the delaying of opening and senescence of cut cose flowers for those cultivars of which flower opening can be accelerated by ethylene.
