摘要
随着计算机技术和数值计算的发展,CFD(计算流体力学)软件得到了越来越多的应用,其不仅可以用于工程设计,还可以用于科学研究。文章对CFD进行了简要概述,阐明了采用CFD软件的优势及其应用的领域,结合CFD应用在汽车领域的几个简单实例,说明了该种数值模拟的方法对于节约成本和缩短研发周期有着极为重要的作用。
With the development of computer technology and numerical calculate, the CFD （Computational Fluid Dynamics） software is used widely. It can be used not only for engineering design, but also for scientific research. A brief introduction of the CFD is presented. The advantages of CFD software and its application are illustrated. With several simple examples in automotive field, its results show that this numerical simulation method is significant to reduce the development cost and the development period.
