摘要
大学是以学术为本,以研究高深学问、培养高级人才、从事文化传承和创新为宗旨的学术组织。大学精神是一所大学的价值取向,文化传统是学校绵延不绝的血脉,优势学科是学校的品牌资源,办学定位是大学发展的方向标。因此,学校应以大学精神作为学校的灵魂,以文化传统作为学校的血脉,以优势学科作为学校的骨架,以科学定位作为学校的标杆。如此,大学才能真正成为文化精神的滋养之地和文化风骨的养成之所。
University is an academic institution which undertakes academic research, cultivates high level talents, and engages in cultural transmission and innovation. Academic spirit is the value orientation of a university, cultural tradition is its continuous life stream, prestigious disciplines are its brand resources, and the purpose of school running is its development orientation. Therefore, the academic spirit should be taken as the soul of a university, cultural tradition as its life blood, prestigious disciplines as its supporting frame, scientific orientation as its sign pole. Only in this way can a university really becomes a nurturing place for cultural spirit and strength.
