摘要
大学英语课程由必修课和选修课构成,两者相辅相成。大学英语课程的选修课是对学生进行通识教育的有效途径。中医院校应该以中医文化为出发点,结合大学英语课程要求,从课程的需求评估、教学计划制定,以及评价内容和方式的改革等方面入手,建设具有自身特色的大学英语选修课课程体系,做到外语教学和通识教育的有机统一。
Language course design reflects the designers＇ idea of language teaching and education. College English course consists of the required and selective courses, which are supplementary to each other. The selective courses of college English act as an efficient approach to general education for students. From the angle of TCM culture, TCM colleges can combine the college English teaching principles, evaluate the course needs, work out the teaching plan, and reform the evaluation mode and content, for the purpose of developing selective courses of college English, by which foreign language teaching can integrate with general education.
